I was born and raised in the San Francisco "Bay Area" and have been living in Sonoma County, with my life partner, for the past 22 years. As the daughter of a German immigrant mother, I grew up hearing stories about war-time survival in Germany, and the inhumanities she witnessed as a child during WW II. At a young age I was taught to value and appreciate people of various cultures, and to understand the profound human cost of intolerance. I first participated in Climbers For Peace in 1999 and I've participated in CFP II, III, IV and VI. I've developed life-long friendships with some wonderful people who share a deep desire for world peace. I'm a Social Worker who has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for 28 years.
